Fire Suppression
FutureQuest has installed an early warning fire detection system which monitors both temperature and air quality in hopes of warning of a potential fire before it turns into a real flame. If however a true fire were to erupt in FutureQuest's Data Center, the FM-200 Fire suppression system includes dual tanks of FM-200, environmentally safe, gas based suppression.

Unlike other fire suppression alternatives, the FM-200 fire suppression agent does not leave behind any oily residues, particulates, water, or corrosive materials. Thus it would not cause any collateral damage in the event it was activated. The FM-200 system monitors on a zoned bases, and has dozens of sensors and suppression heads located both above and below the raised-tile floor.
Concrete walls, floor, and ceiling further protect the FutureQuest Data Center in the event of a fire. This image reveals the fire wall that extends beyond the ceiling tiles. The FutureQuest Data Center is completely enclosed with this concrete protection. The windows that allow a view from the Data Center to the Offices were installed with fire safety glass to allow over an hour of burn time before the fire could cause any serious collateral damage.
